Under the motto "POLAR REGIONS, CLIMATE CHANGE and SOCIETY" the German Society of Polar Research would like to cordially invite you to the 28 International Polar Conference in Cologne.
In the following, first information for the conference are given.
Deadline for registration as well as for the submission of abstracts: 30 April 2020.
The first circular can be downloaded here. Further information will be provided by the end of February 2020. By this time, also the registration form will be available.
Ample space like lecture rooms, space for poster presentations, etc., will be available at the University of Cologne, Albert-Magnus-Platz, 50931 Köln.

The report colloquium of the DFG Priority Program 1158 "Antarctic Research" will be an integral part of the scientific program. It is planned from Tuesday (08 Sept 2020) noon to Wednesday (09 Sept 2020) noon.
Oral Presentations and Poster
ORAL PRESENTATIONS can be given using PowerPoint or PDF. Information on the preferred format and resolution will be given in due time.
POSTERS shall be printed in format DIN-A0 portrait.
Detailed information on the poster sessions will be provided by the second circular as well as on this web page by the end of February 2020.
English is the preferred conference language is English. Individual presentation can also be given in German.
The three best posters will be given an award of € 300, € 200 and € 100, respectively.
